CGS Imaging Adds new 16' UV Roll to Roll Press....


October 2009

Citizens Bank Park, home to MLB's Philadelphia Phillies, contained signage throughout the stadium and various interactive fan activities during games three and four of the 2009 World Series created by CGS Imaging.


Colossal-sized graphics could be seen in victory lane as well as throughout Talladega Superspeedway during the action packed NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and Camping World Truck Series races in Talladega, Alabama.


CGS Imaging was seen on the podium in the ARCA RE/MAX series as Justin Lofton won the 2009 Championship as well as the “CGS Imaging Race for the Wrap” Award in which Justin’s team, Eddie Sharp Racing, will receive a complete custom wrap for the team's racecar, complements of CGS Imaging.


CGS Imaging demonstrated its support of the Power UP Foundation and “Run to the Keys” campaign by providing a custom design and wrap for foundation founder, Doug Merrill’s support vehicle during his historic run throughout the Southeast stopping at schools and community organizations discussing positive physical and mental health.


September 2009

August! One of the most technologically advanced ultra-wide printers in the industry was installed at CGS Imaging. Unlike with traditional solvent based inks, the HP XP5100 will print widths up to 16 feet, all while using environmentally friendly UV based inks. Combining speed, quality, and versatility, this printer creates both indoor and outdoor images that are top notch for showcasing the most basic to elaborate graphics needed.


August 2008

Officials from the ARCA RE/MAX Series and CGS Imaging announced a formal partnership positioning CGS Imaging as the "Official Wide Format Digital Printing Supplier of ARCA" and the latest company to join the ARCA RE/MAX Series' 2011 plan.


January 2008

January!CGS Imaging was seen in victory lane at Talladega Superspeedway on the car of Penske Racing driver Justin Allgaier.


Over 30 large signs were displayed throughout the grandstands at Talladega Superspeedway during the Aaron’s Dream Weekend. This project went from print production to installation within one week.


April 2008

CGS Imaging has expanded with the acquisition of a new 24,000 square foot facility located in Maumee, OH. Along with the move, CGS boosted its production capacity with the purchase of two additional HP/Scitex 5 meter printers. These additions have positioned CGS Imaging to have one of the largest production capacities in the Midwest.


April 2007

CGS Imaging was contracted to produce a 560 foot long display for the pit road garage roof at Martinsville Speedway.


June 2006

CGS Imaging was contracted to produce a mesh, wall banner paying tribute to the 2006 Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes at Compuware Corporation. As the series went to seven games, there was a small window of opportunity to produce the graphic and have it ready for installation at 5:30 a.m. the day following the team’s victory.


May 2006

Richmond Motor Speedway hosted the Crown Royal 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race. CGS Imaging was contracted to install specialty signs throughout the facility for the race. One of the unique projects for this event was to install reflective digital imaging on the Bridge Tunnels at the facility, featuring UPS and veteran driver Dale Jarrett.


January 2006

CGS Imaging was contracted to produce five, mesh graphics over six stories tall that were installed in downtown Detroit during the Super Bowl Festivities. The project posed a challenge as over 18,000 square feet of graphics were produced in only two days.


August 2005

Digital Graphics Magazine, a respected national publication servicing the Digital Printing Industry, selected CGS Imaging to be featured in an article on ultra-wide grand format printing.
