Corporation has a banner day. CGS Imaging was
contracted to produce a huge wall mesh
banner paying tribute to the 2006
Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes.
As the series went to seven games,
there was a small window of opportunity to
produce the graphic, and have it
ready for installation at 5:30 A.M. the
day following their victory.
MAY 6, 2006 Richmond
Motor Speedway hosted the Crown Royal 400 NASCAR Nextel Cup race. CGS
Imaging was contracted to install specialty graphics at the Richmond
facility for the race. One of the unique projects for the event was to
install reflective digital imaging on
Bridge Tunnels at the facility, featuring the UPS, Dale Jarrett team.
JANUARY 2006 CGS
Imaging is contracted to Produce 5 huge 6 1/2 story tall
mesh graphics installed in Downtown
Detroit during the Super Bowl Festivities. The project posed a huge
challenge as over 18,000 sq. ft. of graphics were produced in
only 2 days.

Imaging, located in Maumee Ohio
has installed a new Scitex Vision XLjet+
super-wide format printer at its spacious new facility.
Chuck Stranc,
of CGS Imaging explains; “Choosing the Scitex Vision XLjet+ has given us
a
competitive edge for our clients. It was
the natural step for us to meet our demands for grand format printing, due to its flexibility and
the quality of the products that it produces.”
The width of the XLjet+
as well as its advanced capabilities, such as its potential to switch between four, six and eight colors, its
ability to produce pinpoint registration on double-sided and backlit applications, and its capability to
produce sharp text and vivid colors on a wide variety of substrates such as flex, banners canvas,
mesh, Tyvek™, textiles, paper and vinyl, has enabled CGS Imaging to service customers that it
had previously been unable to reach.
